preventative maint.
fairly new to diesel. what should i look at /change on truck besides fluids?just finnished luk smf conversion. should i change glow plugs??

Use the ford motorcraft/beirut glow plugs. champs are only good for throwing at fish. Keep a good maintainance schedule going. Watch your dca (?) level in the coolant system. It is for preventing cavitation. CAT has stuff called Nalcool and Napa has stuff for the same thing. There are also test strips available for this. Be sure to use diesel rated motor oil. I am sure you will hear about lots of different oils, so you will have to be satisfied with your choice. Most replacement parts are available at International dealers at a lower price than F O R D dealers. Good luck on your ride and enjoy.
