need headlight ring clips

I need to buy headlight ring clips for my 56 grill, they are 2 clips with screw holes that hold the outer trim ring in place. Can't seem to find them any where online. Am I even naming them correctly, "trim ring clips"? "ring clips"? "outer ring clips"? I know that the thin ring that holds the headlight is the retaining ring? right.....

confused in austin...

1956 Headlight Ring Grille Clip part number 82238 at Mid-Fifty sell for $4.50 each. You need two per side.

The 56 part above doesn't fit your 55. I buy thru "John's F-Fun Hundreds" in Santa Ana CA. Their phone is (714) 563-F100. Their part number for "Headlight door ring clip set of 2 w/screws" (1948-1955) is 13042AA. $5.00 per set. Ask for a catalog. Their prices are better than NPD.

Ray, I have a 56 grill on mine and just went with common speed clips from the hardware store. The work fine, just don't over torque them. 29 cents each. John
