2000 tranny
ive got a 2000 explorer,4.0, xls, w/auto. it's a five speed, and i think it's french of all things. couple of days ago the od light starts flashing, and the tranny starts acting like it's not making pump pressure, lagging shifts and not really hooking up in high gear. cycled the ignition off, then back on and it corrected, only to repeat ten minutes later. called the dealer, they want $86 an hour to diagnose, and god knows what to repair. this whole thing seems electronic. any clues where i should start looking? this truck only has 49,000 on it. my 65 f250 is something i can understand, not french electronic drivetrains.
