I have a 92 automatic tranny. It does not want to shift into overdrive. However, when I am traveling on a level surface at 55 MPH, I put it in neutral. I then race the engine drop it back into drive. It then goes into OD and works fine.
Is a 92 tranny controlled by computer, vacuum or what?
I have changed the fluid and the fluid was not discolored or burnt. Any ideas?
Where you able to fix the problem? My 92 Explorer doesn't want to shift into OD either. I have 170k miles on it.
Thanks!
