Exhaust Question

What are the advantages and disadvantages running a stock exhaust without the muffler ?
And running a Magnaflow turbo back without a muffler ?

Stock exhaust without the muffler - I did it for about 4 months....
Lower egt's
less weight since the stock muffler is about 100 lbs I think :-)
Very good sound at low rpms....

but too much drone on long trips in my opinion....
So I got a turbo back and love it !

Well, that's what I did too...
figured, what was I out trying it straight piped at first....

Around town and at low rpm - it sounds STRONG - even got compliments from the Dealers svc guys !

if it weren't for the excursions long "cab" it might have been all right...
but we take a light of "upper rpm" long trips and it would get tiresome after 6 or 8 hours :-)
