shorty headers

I've been getting all these ideas for my truck. will a set of shorty headers from a 5.0 mustang bolt right in up to the stock exhaust? It already has flowmaster from the cat-back. I just want to bolt some cheap shorty headers up to the stock y-pipe. Also what is the biggest injectors i can put on the stock engine?

Summit has a nice set of shorty headers for around 160. I installed a pair on my Bronco with a 351ho a couple of years ago. Very happy with the fit and they have thick flanges so no leaks.

can't say if shortys from a stang will fit. you will need to look at where the exhaust exits on ur stock, vrs the stang shortys. They will bolt to the engine, but not sure about ur truck exaust. You may have to replace the exhaust from the headers to the cat back system.
Better to go with a set of truck headers. Planning on a set from edelbrock myself, ceramic coated. Supost to bolt right on, no changes. Can find em at jegs .com

They won't fit, the exits are in the wrong location.
