fuel pumps ??

The record keeping on the life of components by the members seems extraordinary. When I worked fleet maintenance, I used to try to base component replacement on known failure records. There are always variables and usually reasons for them, however, it is a way to prevent down time and road failure. This brings me to my question. What has been the finding as to the life of the electric pumps in Ranger pickups (failed at xxxmiles)?

The pump in my 95 has 183,500 on it and still working.

My 87 has a pump in each tank plus the frame mount, havent changed any of them with 223K on the truck.

The 1989 had 130k with the original pump when it got traded in for the 2002.
