I have to rant a little. I have read post after post of a few people that think they are such great and mighty person since they can spell and write words down. I have to tell you all that you are not any better then anyone else on this site!! If you wonderful spellers would tell the truth I think you are the ones that call people like me and many of the other poor spellers to ask us what we think are dumb questions but never tell you so as not to hurt your feelings. I have seen time and time again all the well spelled and grammatically correct poor advice you so thought superior beings have posted and still keep my mouth shut. Us bad spellers may not put what is in our mind down on paper the best but I doubt you can’t hold a candle to the mechanical ability and knowledge of us bad spellers. So take your spelling and shove way up your ***. I am pleased to say that I do not have to put other people down to make myself fell better.
And if this offends you I typed this so that it would offend you as much as you offend us poor spellers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man, ALL of my techers have told me that I am REALLY good at English and am a good speller. Well, I don't believe it and I think I get worse at spelling EVERY year. Really, I use word spell check 1 tiomes more than I did 2 years ago. Not really great on Grammer neither, so I I can't rant on noone....LOL
I think the Internet has destroyed my ability to write in general. After only a few years of reading message boards for hours at a time, all the grammer rules I thought were permanently embeded from high school somehow faded away. I used to be able to type a full page without the word processor catching anything wrong; now I can barely type a single sentence without a error. Maybe today's word processors are just getting smarter!
I am a fast 2 or three finger typist. I also don't normally look at the screen when I type. This digest doesn't appear to have a spell checker built in and since I am not writing to anyone that I must impress with my spelling, I don't worry about typos.
So when you read one of my posts, you will probably see a few or many typos and maybe you will think me an idiot. I won't argue the point, there is too much evidence against me.
In any case, it isn't really important whether you catch a few typos in anyone's posting. The key is, did you learn anything?
If I learn something useful, even from an idiot, I call it a good deal.
The only time I get irked at spelling is when it is important, or someone is trying to come off as an "expert". I am not an expert so don't worry about my spelling.
