Replacing power lock on driver side
Hi All, I am looking to replace my power lock on the driver side of my 2000 F150. Is it easy to do? Also how do you take off the door panal? Thanks in advance for any info and steps.....thanks

Replacing the door lock actuator is quite easy.
For instructions check out the "Frequently Asked Questions....stop here first" near the top of this forum.

I'm not sure if parts stores sell them. I work at a dealer so we just use genuine Ford parts. Quite often the genuine Ford parts are no more money than cheap aftermarket parts.
It does sound like your passenger's actuator is on it's way out too so you can replace it now or just leave it until it wont work at all.
