Using the EEC-IV interface?
1989 F250, with 7.5L engine
Well, I found the interface which reads EEC, but it does not accept my Ford scanner, which works with a 87 Topaz I have. I thought all EEC-IV systems were the same with identical. But this does does not appear to have plug-in capabilites.
I have all the Ford manuals, including the EEC-IV one, and they have a pic hotwiring the EEC interface. I already tried that - for an aggravating hour and a half and still couldn't get anything to show up. I already have a scanner, the type which flashes the light.
Hotwiring stuff with the voltmeter and wires is just ridiculous, there has to be a better (easier) way.
