Boy, with the large engine shops that Rusty has at his race shops, that he would have this kind of dyno info by now. HEE HEE 
A good long tube header can increase torque and HP. Usually opening up the exhaust will increase power, but it also moves the torque curve up in the rpm range. You will loose some low end torque, but gain more top end power.
They will not hurt the engine, only ake it breathe better.
