Has anyone had any luck by removing the left side air box of a 95-99 Explorer? Leaving the factory or K&M filter wide open to the air? I have read that a lot of people are doing it with success. My concern is the extra dirt and moisture that can get to the filter and any problems that might be encountered with the MAP sensor due to less air restriction and temperature.
