Trailer Light Fuses
The 4-wire flat connector on my 2003 F-150 4x4 appears to be totally dead. In the manual there are so many fuses that refer to "trailer/camper" that for the life of me I can't figure out which ones control that simple little connector. Anyone out there have an idea?

Your trailer probably caused the fuse to blow. The fuse panel is located in a very inconvenient place in the passenger side kick panel. I don't have my manual with me at work but you need to pull and check the trailer left turn, the trailer right turn fuses, and the brake fuse which off the top of my head are something like number 27, 32, and ???. I can get my manual in a couple of hours and let you know. All you need is a pair of needle nose, a light, and to be able to contort your body in a question mark shape. It still will only take 5 minutes to check.

....for the response. I actually found one blown fuse in the fuse box under the hood. Ford calls it "high voltage" or some such. I replaced the fuse (10 amp) and unfortunately it didn't change anything. I'm still using a testing tool at the socket by the hitch so it's not like I have bad lights on the trailer...well, they still may be bad but the trailer isn't even in the equation at this point. Now I'm wondering if any of the relays that have the words "trailer" in their name may be bad. I'm not sure how to even check them. You got any thoughts on that one?
