cavitation additives
1) What brand(s) of anti-cavitation additives do you guys recommend using; what brands are available?
--what stores carry these additives?
2) What's the correct PH level for coolant (i.e. what color on a test strip)?
--what stores carry PH test strips?
3) Once I get the additives how do I go about mixing it in with the coolant (can I just drop it in and put the cap back on)? Also, do the additives come with clear instructions as to how much I need to use (i.e. I HATE MIXING RATIOS; THEY'RE TOO COMPLICATED).
4) Wouldn't it be just as bad to add too much additive?
5) I have two diesel mechanics for friends (they are both familiar with PSD's and one is a PSD owner)and both have said that as long as I change my coolant at correct intervals, I dont need to use additives; are my friends correct?
