Question Towing help

Back again. Still have (prototype) 1973 Ford chassis 25' Sportscoach with a 390 4V.

Need to tow a 4WD truck on a trailer. Total weight about 6000 lbs.

GVWR is 12,500 lbs. I think the chassis number is N45HVR56749.

What type hitch do I need? Any thoughts on a light trailer?

Thanks.

What kinda tires? I've towed a '75 hiboy on pizzacutters on an 18' 2-axle tagalong without a problem, but that trailer has sides on it, and anything wider than stock tires won't fit. They do make trailers very much like that one without the sides. The 18'-er works great, but I'm gonna try and talk my dad into buying a heavier-duty one with a permanent dovetail and no sides, or at the very least, removable sides. Whatever choice, get at least a 16'-er with 7k lb axles. Class 3 limit is 6k lbs, so a class 4 or 5 is definitely up your alley, since a gooseneck isn't an option. Electric brakes aren't a must, but they certainly do help.
