Fuel Pump not Running
Ive been chasing down a problem with my 93 f150 302. I get a code 95 (fuel pump problem). The engine starts and dies within a few seconds. Here is what I noticed:
1- If I try to start the truck again it just cranks over.
2- If I move the key to off and back to run, I dont always hear the fuel pump run. Shouldnt this prime the fuel system every time the key goes from off to run?
3- Sometimes I get lucky and the fuel pump comes on and the truck starts.
Im getting a fuel gauge and a relay tonight. But shouldnt the fuel pump come on every time???

From what i have found out about the fuel electrical system your problem could a bad ground or the fuel relay or the ecm relay..once the truck is in the won't start mode you may want to try to test for voltage starting at the pump working back towards the relay.
