itermitent starting problem
ford 82 econolie 150 str 6 cly
fri at 600pm did not start just a click click click
replaced starter same problem
sat 1100am starts fine untill 830pm problem came back repaced celinoide,but same problem , sun 200am started fine
batter has always came up as 12.5 or better
since then i have replaced all neg and pos battery cables and the electronic regulator and starting problems is still there
please help, at wits end

I just had the same problem in my '87. In mine the problem was the ignition switch connections in the steering column. This is particularly a problem with tilt-wheel, as those connections are kind of fragile and do wear out over the years. Problem could also be with the starter relay from the battery cable, which I've had go out before.
