Evinrude 6 horse
I have an Evinrude 6 horse boat motor..I havnt ran it for a few years and i forgot the gas oil ratio..cant find it anywhere on the motor,

Try www.outboardrepairs.com Just did a search on Google for "evenrude oil-gas mixtur and came up with some info. The mixture might be on a cover tag.

Most boat motors are 50:1, but it should be on the inside of the cover or a sticker on the block somewhere.

Use a brand name tc-w3 type outboard oil mixed at 50:1 and you won't have any trouble, no matter what was originally called for.
Many older motors called for SAE 30 mixed at somewhere between 16-1 and 36-1.
The oils are so much better now than even in the 70's and '80's that you can run 50-1 and you dont get the smoke, soot and fouled plugs.
I had a yamaha 40hp that ran 100-1. A gallon of oil lasted a long time in that boat!
