Dearborn Assembly Tour

I recently toured the Dearborn Assembly Plant in Dearborn, Michigan. What an awesome facility. I don't know if we have anyone on the board that works there but you guys/gals do an awesome job. I just hope my newly ordered '05 gets built there.

They spent a lot of money for that facility. I work at Ford and have been in the plant (not on the tour), and was totally impressed. When I went to the plant they were hand building the trucks. The building of this plant will have a huge impact on future of FoMoCo. Check out this site for all the awesome info about the plant. http://www.hfmgv.org/rouge/regeneration.asp

Excuse me, I stand corrected. It was the Dearborn Truck Plant, not Dearborn Assembly. From what I understand, it's a huge difference.

just a tad different. Assembly is where they make the mustangs.(2005 MUSTANGS ARE GOING TO MADE IN FLAT ROCK!) The assembly plant is extremely old and hasnt been renovated since the 1920's.
