i just dropped $130 bucks on fireworks yesterday.... mostly BIG morters and roman candles, some bottle-rockets.
these morters are the best ive ever had... they are called the "Excaliber" i got one box of 24 for $99.00 and the second box for $.99 cents.... the morter itself is about 2 1/2"-3" tall and about 2" in diameter... the explosion is insane! class C fireworks are great
my buddies all dropped abunch of $$ too... this will be a good year
As a firefighter for the past 25 years, I have seen alot of people hurt and people loose homes when stupidity and fireworks are mixed. Now, I don't want to be the "stick in the mud" here,...I have had my share of fun as well, I guess what I am trying to say....use caution my friend, think before act. BE SAFE!
This is going to be my first year to not set off fireworks. In my 14 years of life (well, the ones i remember anyways) we have always set off fireworks on Independence Day. I have to go to my cousin's wedding to be an usher.
It's over 300 miles away. Maybe I can go ahead and get the money my parents would have given me for fireworks.
You guys are lucky. In CT all we can buy are "sparklers" They make these really cool looking boxes and tubes, and all that comes out is sparks. Can't even have firecrackers. But, I am going to Myrtle BEach this summer so I may bring home a few "goodies". Stay Safe
Jmatteau-ummm here in Minnesota we can only have sparklers and other lame things... unless you drive to wisconsin ( 30 minutes away ) and get the good stuff. boy those morters look funny in a portable out-house.
Well, your still lucky. We can't even drive to a neighboring state to get good fireworks. Used to be able to get them in NH, but only sparklers are legal there now to. I think you can get good fireworks in PA, but that is still a drive and a half for fireworks.
we still get the good stuff here in FL but i make alot of my own ...theres a good place where you can buy the stuff online ill have to find the link...lemme look,......here ya go...

I remember seeing a site from some guy in Austrailia who would wire about 500-600 sparklers together and then light it off. Made a very impressive display. He used bailing wire to tie the bundle together. Made a 6 inch bundle then used a sparkler to as a fuse to set it off. He said there was a delay between the sparkler going out and the rest of them going off but when it did light off --- wow.
I dropped a whole 2 dollars on fireworks this year
My g/fs lil bro needed 2 bucks to finish paying for what he wanted.
I haven't bought any in about 3 or 4 years
I quit buying all that stuff after my dad and mom got divorced and mom spent money on things we actually needed instead of dropping 3 or 400 on fireworks every year.
I dont blame her either.
