ABS lock up can't stop
Ok a brief history of my brake problems .I heard a metal to metal sound at stops so I went and bought new shoes and pads I broke the drum on the back trying to get it off so I went ahead and got new 2 new ones, well I must of let the caliper hang by the hose because the line broke when I was driving it .I replaced the bad line (It was the front right) and bleed all 4 wheels CURRENT PROBLEM I live in an area where frequent stops are necessary and when I brake the front shakes horrible I didn't have the rotors turned? also after doing a lot of braking the pedal seems to travel further and the truck is very hard to stop I smell burnt brake dust best as I can describe it from the front and see smoke at night from the front when the head lights are on and rear tires lock up. I have abs but the light never comes on and the amount of brake fluid in the resovor hasn’t changed. Anyone know why this is happening?
The truck is a 94 F150 xl 2 wheel drive 302ci stock truck I don’t do any pulling and very rarely carry any loads in it. Right now I’d be afraid too!
