Just ordered my 2005 Excursion yesterday and Ford finally is offering cab/clearance lights - yippee! Also, does anyone know what "jeweled" headlights are versus the "crystalline" headlights? The 05's come with new jeweled headlights

I don't think so on the cab lights. If you are going off of the Order Guide, that's probably a typo. Did your dealer confirm this with Ford?
Look at the 2005 Escape. It has "Jeweled" headlights.
You guys are right, the clearance lights are only on the mirrors. I did go with the 6.0 as I love this engine. This truck replaces my 2003 which is a buyback under the lemon law. Also decided to go with Harvest Gold instead of black. Too much of my job involves dirt roads where we build homes.
I have had a number of new Fords with the 7.3 and the 6.0. Always had good vehicles and much less time in the shop than my past GM trucks. However, this one was truly a lemon, from the seatbelts to the engine. I do believe in gremlins and this one was infected with them. I love the excursion and really get a rush out of trompin on that diesel!!!
here ya go here is some pics of some 05' superduties and excursions that rolled thur flagstaff if you want some up close pics of some thing inperticular let me know SOON (like today) and ill run over there and take some more pic they are staying at a hotel here in flagstaff. They were all diesel but no gold ones .
Excellent!!! Its probably too late but if you go back would you grab a pic of the Pueblo gold excursion if there is one. Mine is being built the end of August.
all the excursions were limited as far as i could tell, the white super duty was king ranch and the grey SD was lariat i believe. they were all 6.0L. I imagine they were going to the proving grounds (heading west on I-40). sorry i couldnt be of more help.
