lower intake manifold leak
i have the lower intake maifold oil leak and i am planing on doing it this sunday afternoon and wanted to know and tricks or things to watch out for when i do this i have a haynes manuel and wanna get this done thanks

I replaced mine about 3 weeks ago. Pretty simple. Only real thing i can think of is....When you relive the pressure on the fuel rail dont look into the relief valve.... I was told not to and I did any way. Nothing like 92 octane all over your face. While you have the upper and lower intakes off I would also consider finding a way to remove the bubble gum from the inside of them. Mine runs alot better since they've been cleand

i did it today all done what a pain in the butt but it is done no leaks but i do have a funny idle when cold when u put it in drive i am suspecting the iac that was the only thing i did not clean out so i will have to do that sometime tolk me 6 hours to do i have never tooka motor apart like that though wow ho how it is made up and how it works now i have to hope my oil leak has stopped now
