What load range do I need?
I have a 79 F250 SuperCab 4x4 with a Holmes 440. I'm only going to Tow 10 Demolition Derby cars a year. I am replacing the Dana 60 with a Dana 70 and Duallys. I need to know what tires to look for. The Dana 70 has 16.5 Dual rims. What load range do I need. I don't think I need top of the line, but I do want to set the truck up to be safe, and would like to be within DOT requirements.

I believe the rating for a 235/85-16 the is 3042 pounds. I'm not sure about the 16.5 but it will be around the same amount. You should ask your tire dealer and they can tell you for sure.
