Transmission Temp Gauge
Since I pull a large travel trailer with my 2004 F150, and alot of my driving is on some steeper hills, I was thinking about putting a temp gauge on my transmission. I've seen them on the chev and GMC trucks with a trailer towing package. Also the dodges have a light for this. My question's are " Do I have to have a special gauge? What range of temp does it have to be? and is it OK to just drill and tap the transmission base pan for this mod. Any ideas or knowlege on this woulg be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
