Smart transmission ?

I've heard that you can pretty much do that with any modern transmission. In the 4R70W it really doesn't affect too much. It may change the valve open/shut timing within the valve body. I believe this is the only electronically controlled variable within it. As far as performance, you'll never see or feel a difference. This could be why it's not in the owners manual.
It doesn't hurt to try (unless you hate reprogramming the radio!)
