Simple engine mod...advice?
Hello there guys and gals.
Learned about a simple engine mod...wanna know what you all think.
1. 4.7k ohm 1/2 watt resistor
2. put each end of the thing into the IATS sensor and leave the sensor hanging.
This is suppose to make he motor think it is getting more air and increase the fuel/air ratio, increase timing 1.5 degrees to give more power, etc. They say the daily driver can leave it on or just install it on the track for drag times. Sound sketchy? I got it from www.installuniversity.com.
Any talk of this as legit? Let me know.
If it is...it's only a 20 cent mod. Sounds fun if it doesn't blow the engine.
