Question 351c block

I bought a 351 cleveland block. It has been cleaned and magnifluxed. If i got it bored .030 what might it be worth? And could I get my money back for having it bored. I guess what would it be worth before and after boring.

It is probably worth a couple of hundred plus the cost of boring. It might need more than just a bore job. It could need to be line bored and/or decked to true it up. I would look into that before I spent money on a cylinder bore job.

Up here in canada that block unmachined if not cracked is worth about $1200.00.

i would prefer to buy an unmachined block, that way i can do my own evaluation(sonic check) of how much to bore it. and also choose who to do it. my machine shop wants to have the pistons in hand before they start. different pistons require different clearances, not to mention production variables.
