First, I would like to say hi to the group! I live in Nashville. My question is this:
I own a 1997 Ford F-150 4x4 with a 5.4L Triton. I don't use the 4x4 options very much however I have noticed that when I do engage 4x4 lo or hi sometimes nothing happens and when it does it sounds like the front end is going to fall out. During use of 4x4 things seem normal. Then when I try to disengage I have to back up 3 or 4 times and shift from drive to reverse inorder to get it to come out. Tell me this isn't normal?
Thanks to all.
