Question so - is it true???

can you really re-use a superchips microtuner on another truck - I have been offered a used SCMicrotuner and as long as the truck is downloaded to original setting the tuner can be re-used? has anybody had problems with this - not that I don't believe the fact - just want to make sure I get the complete benifit and download for my truck!!

thanks
tom

Yes, you can reuse it so long as the previous vehicle is restored to the stock tune.

you can reuse it on any ford v8 v10 98-03 except some explorers (like mine) and some mountaineers. imo.

but definitley not my 2002 v8 explorer. which really ****ed me off. on superchips, motorhavens, anyones site that sells it says any 98-03 v8 or 10 ford will work. not meant to be a knock on the sponsors but maybe grab the bull by the horns and let this be known.
my explorer rocks on its own but was looking forward to the tuner with the trans shift. my 250 5 speed didnt get to see that option.

You know what happens when a page is made that presents every option, exclusion, feature, blah... blah? Nobody reads it. That has been my experience over and over again. Just like the posting guidelines here. When we shortened them we got complaints that "what I did isn't in the guidelines". When they were longer, we often got the complaint "I didn't know that was against the rules" because too many wouldn't read the long guidelines. Either way its presented someone is going to find it lacking.
