just wondering if 16" wheels could fit on the truck based off the fact that ford doesnt offer a 16 inch wheel on new trucks. Is it just that they offer big wheels or are the brake rotors too big to fit 16" wheels?
If it is because of tire prices/availability for the 17" wheels I hear what you are saying. Priced out a set of 265/70R17 and just about fell over when I heard what they cost. I think I will take out a loan to get them!
yah thats what i am afraid of because i plan on getting the skyjacker 6" lift and 35" Super Swamper Bogger's but the the size im going for needs a 16x10 wheel. Well i guess im gonna have to chande out the brakes, mabey baer brake system
and WTH would you want to put a smaller brake on there for...thats like smoking in a room with a gas leak....its just a matter of time before it hits the fan
smaller brakes = less stopping power
maybe not even enuff to stop the f150
Baer has brake systems for 16" wheels and they would be enough to stop the f150. im not tryong to race my truck. I plan on lifting it so i wont be flying around turns and braking hard
