When I rev up the enginge past 3000 RPMs the engine starts "Missing". I had diagnostics checked and nothing was found.
The mechanic told me it was an Idle Governor to prevent engines idling so high...
I have never heard of this... Is this true?
If so, What if I get headers, Flowmaster, etc... I can't show off the awesome sound like the good ol' muscle cars???
When did they start putting that on there. My 99 doesn't have it. At least not at 3000 rpm. i have revved it to about 4500 at a stop light before, but i didnt hit a limiter. I dont do it often, just once or twice and i didnt hold it there. Just up and back down.
