HI thanks for the quick reply, does the two wheel drive use the same hoses as the FWD ?? could only find the hose for the two wheel drive $29.00. I am in Australia.
regards bob,.,
Nope, different axles, different hoses. You can also try some the site sponsors, or inlinetube.com. I would think you could have them shipped down under if you cant find them locally.
HI
No cant find them locally. they recondition them for a hundred dollars each.
I would rather put latter model one's on. to just change the end of the pipes.
regards Bob,.,
Are you talking about the steel common lines or the rubber transition hoses? If you have a quality shop around they should be able to make what you need. The steel pipe can be made DIY with a simple tubing bender and patience. The rubber part can be pressure fitted by any reputable hose and belt distributor. John
HI John
The local shop will recon the rubber hose for a hundred dollars apeice. the steel pipes I can do, can you get the hoses in America, standard hose like OEM, or don't Ford not sell them anymore? directly you say "special" they charge like a wounded Bull.
Bob,.,
Bob,you need to look beyond Ford as a source for brake parts.Even though you aren't here in US you should be able to access parts stores here in the US,even check the sponsors of this site. I have good luck with NAPA auto parts, and what they can't do physically my local belt and hose supply shop has been able to do with clamping and pressure fittings. I'd look at the sponsors at this site, and if you can't find anything there, check the Napa site, and if that doesn't work call the junk yards. It seems wierd that you would have a problem finding parts,as I can go to at least 6 places here in Billings,Mt and get the parts I need or the prts I need made.Remember if you go the junk yard route that most junk yards in America can link together to find the parts you need John
HI John have tried NAPA there is no listing for FWD all so Auto Krafters still waiting for a reply.
I can get the hoses done locally but they want $100.00 apeice, was trying to do it cheaper.
Bob,.,
Most of the aftermarket suppliers have on line catalogs now. I'm sure I've seen the hoses more than once. No idea on shipping but try our sponsors in the link below.
