Hi
I am in the market for a new Truck, I presently own a 98 explorer sport, 4x2 with manual trans. I love the SUV, however the milage is approching 100k and I feel I need to trade in. I am considering the Explorer Sport Trac vs the Toyota Tocoma. The truck would need to be a manaul tranny, 4x2 will suffice and probably a double cab, althought I would consider a extended cab. I have not test drove any of the vehicles but would welcome any opions.
i have a sport trac thar very good trucks and they r almost identical to ur truck on the inside.. u will like it much more than the 'toy' it also has much more back seat leg room

The Sport Tracs have offered a manual trans every year. They are not very common, however. The SOHC V6 is the only enigine offered.
One of my father's co-workers has one and likes it. I think they're neat vehicles and there's a lot more room in them than the Toy.

They do offer the maunual transmission, however I have been looking all over and cannot find one, I guess I can always order one, What is with these dealers anyway, nobody out there drives manual, It appears unless you are looking for a sports car, 90% of all cars or truck are automatic transmission.
My co-worker just purchased a Mustang V6 during the summer. She had a hell of a time finding one with a stick, so unfortunately our laziness effects all types of cars. I don't know stick but I think I'd love it. Too bad it's sooooo hard to find
