Hi there. I have a '67 F100 2wd with a 429 and am wondering if headers from 73-79 ford 429/460 will fit in my truck. I was told they would, but they had to be 73-79 2wd not the 4x4. They have 1 5/8" primary and 3" collector. Thanks ya'll.

 

Should work, I believe you cannot find the correct engine headers for your year is because the 429/460 was not available until the 73-79 year runs.

Does anybody have a 67-72 f100 429 2wd with headers? I have to believe there is! Where did you find your headers?

 

You would want to talk with FORDBOYPete, he is on the 61-66 group quite a bit and runs a 460 on a 79 frame under his 66. Other than that, check with the gang on the 67-79 forum, there will be plenty there running this set up.

My truck is a 65 running a FE engine, which was a factory set up.
