I parked my 71 F-100 on an upward slope of no more than 15 degrees, and the automatic transmission in it started leaking a bit. I noticed this after about a week. Then I started the truck to use it and the tranny started leaking pretty significantly for a few minutes leaving some pretty significant oil spots. Then it stopped after 5 or so minutes. I've since parked it on level ground where it hasn't leaked so far.
I'm not sure if it's a C-6 or 4, but I'm pretty sure that it's not an FMX. The truck has a 390 in it, but the VIN says 360.
I was wondering if this sounded familiar to anyone. I haven't had the time to go take a look and try to determine where it's leaking from, but if you've experienced this leak after parking on a slope syndrome, do you recall what the problem was?
