Sterling 10.25 Locker!

What is the best to drop in a Sterling 10.25? Detroit Locker? ARB? I have a 96 bronco about to go to 44's it has 38's now and it is mostly a pavement pounder but it does see off-road. I also hope to run 5.38 in my sterling and the dana 44 straight axle in the front.

I agree on the Detroit as best. However, since this is mostly a mall cruiser I'd put in a Powrlok for on-road ease with some off-road capability.

10.25 out back and 44 up front? interesting...

If you want a locker, and plan on driving mostly on pavement...either get a selectable locker or get a limited slip instead, IMO.

I have an auburn selectable locker in the rear of my F-150. It's limited slip when off and 100% locked (like a spool) when it's engaged. The limited slip is pretty tight, it'll spin both tires unless 1 is off the ground, then the torque mostly goes to the wheel off the ground. If you keep them on the ground you'll get power to both easily.
