Gas price

Hi All, what is the best gas type for 97, 4.6 Expy? I've heard a few opinions on this matter. Does it make a big difference if I use regular?

Check your owner's manual. I'm sure it recommends 87 octane. That is what I use in my 02, 5.4. Using a higher grade is just wasting money if your engine is stock. Save where you can.

Yep, these boats thrive on lower octane gas unless you have some sort of performance enhancing chip or program that advances the timing.
