Carb linkage problems

I converted my 1970 Ford pickup from a 2v intake to a factory 4v intake (I think the 4v intake is middle 60s vintage). I installed a Holley 4150 on the factory 4v intake. The truck is equipped with an automatic transmission. The auto trans kick down arm does not reach the carb (short by 4 inches or so). The factory 2v intake linkage was mounted at the back of the intake. The arm from this rear intake mounted linkage doesn't reach the Holley carb also. Help! Is there a conversion kit available for this intake and carb swap? Do I have to manufacture my own pieces? I am hopeful someone has made the same or similar switch. Any advice would be helpful.

Holley makes a kit to extend the arm. Check their catalog or with a local speed shop.

alternative linkage

I bought a nice kickdown linkage kit from Lokar, haven't installed it yet but it's supposed to work great, full adjustable. Their shift linkage for my C6 is very good, works great.
