I have a 74 F-250 with a C6 and a divorced Dana 24 transfer case. I am in the process of switching it out for a NP 205 and I want to get the wobble out of the shifter while I am at it. I took the shifter off and found part of an rubber bushing, where could I find one of these? If someone has a part number that would be great.
Also when I looked at the linkage, on the end that connects to the T-case is worn pretty badly. I thought I might be able to cut that off and weld a bolt of the right size in it's place then drill a hole for the cotter pin. Does this sound like a good way to go?
