I agree with IVMOOSE007 that with the exception of headers almost anything else you do will move the torque band higher up the rpm scale and depending on stall in your torque converter and rear axle gearing this may still work great in your vehicle but without gearing changes will show up at very low rpm as a loss.

start with headers and a good dual exhust, no cats if you can, then stick a k&n in the air intake, if thats not enough power for ya rip the motor out and build it with a good intake, stock ported heads, comp cams 268h cam and valvle train, flat top pistons and a fresh bottom end

YOu might wanna reconsider that. With a heavy vehicle you want all the low end torque you can get to go with that added hp. There is an old saying that goes to the effect of, horsepower sells cars and torque wins races. later
