Think about this... If it worked the OEM's would specify that the spark plugs be manufactured that way. They are always looking for an extra HP or 0.1 MPG.

Glad to help, there are a lot of "snake oils" in the automotive world. Engineering is always a compromise. In this case it may give you a little extra for a while but if you don't remember to replace the plugs in 10,000 miles when that gap opens up you start loosing... They even want you to start with a smaller gap, they know about the electrode erosion ! -hehe
