gearing Q's

I know that 4,10 gears will spin 33's well and that my stock 3,55 spin my 235's well but is it going to be overly hard on the truck to make my little 3,55 gears spin 31" or 32x10.5 tires. This should only throw my spedo out by 3 or4 kms. Am I correct or just kidding myself?

My truck had factory 31" tall tires and 3:55 gears. I kept the gears when I went to 32"s and it isn't bad. Maybe a little sluggish off the line, but it's no race car anyway. I couldn't see changing both gearsets (4WD). The speedo is about 3-4 mph slow now.

are you running factory 7.5" rims with the 32's or did your truck come with 8" ( or did you upgrade)? If so , any fit issues?

I have 33's on 3.55s. No complaints here.

I have american racings on it, they are 15x8.5 and have an 11" wide tire. They fit good, stick out a hair, and don't rub. The offset was custom, but I don't recall what it was. The rims were purchased new for it in 89!
