But it (simple green) WILL get grease out of carpet if you spend enough time with it...
Grease, spaghetti stains, coke... you name it...
I do love my simple green.
I use oven cleaner on cast iron or steel parts after I have taken the motor apart and I am repainting the block. It's bad for aluminum though, real bad since it's a caustic.
