Rear wiper problems
I have a problem with the rear wipers on my 99 Explorer going out. I had them repaired by the dealer 3 different times and now they have quit working for the 4th time. Now, the truck is out of warranty and I am going to try and repair them myself. Has anyone had this problem? How do you get to the wiper motor and linkage assembly. I thought I would ask before diving in. Thanks

Rear wiper problems
My brother-in-law is experiencing the same problem with the wiper not working intermittently. Also, like I have seen in other posts in this forum, his wiper motor seems to be loose and moves around freely.
I would be interested in knowing how you have made out with the your problem.

Rear wiper problems
I have the same problem w/my explorer sport. I found if i turn it on, go to the back and move it manually, it frees it up to work. It was happening every time for a while, but the last time I freed it up it has worked fine. hope this helps.
