Stupid HO Alternator Question
Ok guys, I feel really stupid for asking a question about something so simple. Funny how stuff thats simple always confuses you the most. Anyway, I was wondering, on a one wire hookup alternator... when you run the wire from the alternator to the battery, do you just PUT that wire on the terminal that goes on the battery, or do you have to buy a new terminal that the wire will fit IN TO? I've never installed a one wire hookup alt before, but I've installed plenty of stock ones. Any help would be great, thanks guys.

Heavy gauge wire, soldered ring terminal, installed to + lead on the fender solenoid is how I install all mine (with the exception of my F250, where I used diesel bat cables which had a 4g lead coming out of the terminal for the bat, that I used to connect direct to the alt)
