Underdrive pullies replace the crankshaft, waterpump and alternator pullies, they are smaller in diameter causing the accesseries to turn slower freeing up horsepower. I'm running Ford racing pullies with an ASP overdrive alternator pulley to keep a somewhat normal charge while idling with lights, AC and stereo on.
If you've ever turned a wrench before you shouldn't have any problems intsalling them other then the alternator pulley which is just about impossible to remove without an impact.
