Block Number & Starter
I bought a 1970 ford pickup shortbox with a 1972 cab, and i was told that the engine is a 302 but this is my first ford so i was wondering where the engine block number is. i need it to find out the year and such because i just bought a starter for it and when the truck is started the starter stays engaged which is obviously not good. i fixed the problem with the starter sticking out but now it sounds like it is spinning constently so i think its the solenoid. what do you all think?
