Oil pressure -check spring
1989 7.3 diesel-
In the oil cooler, there is a oil pressure regulator. A pressure relief valve.
The oil cooler is where the oil filter mounts.
This spring controled valve is not illustrated in the Chilton's book,
however, it is there. I took the oil cooler out to check if the spring is broken.
I want to put in a new spring, and, even the ford dealer here doesn't
show this pressure relief valve in his book.
Can anyone give information on installing a new spring in this valve?
