Help out here in Saipan
I have a 1998 Mazda B4000 4X4 with 60K miles on it. Recently I have been having really loud squeaking and a intermittent "rubbing/squealing" sound coming from the front end of my truck. Lo and behold, my ball joints are gone....that was simple enough, but theres the trouble of that sound coming from the front end. I read up on some of the threads and tried to see if I needed to engage the 4x4 but that doesnt seem to fix the problem. Well, now the sound is really driving me nuts and the its has gotten loud enough to attract attention. 
When I listen while I am driving, it seems to increase while I drive and does not change if I step on the brakes or engage the 4x4. I hope anyone out there can help me out on this. Thanks for any help out there
